You may see the terms laser part marking and laser engraving used interchangeably, but we consider them two different services. Â Laser engraving is a more general term that includes artistic designs as well as work for a single item. Â Part marking is generally simpler artwork including serial numbers, bar codes, and possibly logos. Â How the mark looks is less important than its readability and permanence. Â Part marking orders are usually for large quantities of small parts.
