Response: We were sorry to hear this, but this is why we recommend doing a sample before placing a large order. We do not do any laser *printing*, only laser engraving. On on the Polyurethane Smart Covers the laser removes the outer layer of the Polyurethane material leaving the gray subsurface behind.
